Five people were killed and two others injured in a traffic accident in Kunduz province.
According to local sources, the accident occurred last night in Imam Sahib district after a Corolla car veered off the road.
A spokesman for the Taliban security command in Kunduz said the injured were taken to the Hozvi hospital.
The incident comes as the number of traffic accidents in northern Afghanistan has increased in recent weeks.
In the latest case, a traffic accident on the Samangan-Balkh highway left three people dead and 33 injured.
