Local sources in Badakhshan say that last night, unknown armed individuals stormed a house in Arghand village of Argoy district of the province and shot dead a woman and her young son.
Taliban officials in Badakhshan confirmed the incident and said that the group’s forces had arrested four people in connection with the case.
Mysterious killings have increased in many provinces of the country under the control of the Taliban group. The increase in such cases has made citizens face serious security concerns.
