Local sources in Panjshir say that the Taliban have shot dead a 25-year-old man named Farhad in Maidan Wardak province.
According to the sources, Farhad, who was originally from the village of “Shekhan” in the “Rukhay” district of Panjshir, was pulled out of a car by the Taliban on the Kabul-Maidan Wardak highway on Sunday and then shot dead.
According to the sources; Farhad intended to travel to Iran through smuggling routes due to poverty and unemployment, and he had previously been expelled from Iran.
