Noureddine Azizi, the acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban, headed a delegation to participate in the Fourth Tashkent International Investment Conference.
He will be accompanied on this trip by Maulvi Ahmad Jan Bilal, the General Director of Emirati Companies.
The trip was made at the official invitation of the Uzbek government and its aim is to follow up on previous agreements and expand economic cooperation between the two countries.
Representatives from about 100 countries are attending this economic event, and the Taliban delegation is scheduled to hold talks with officials from different countries on the sidelines of the meeting and participate in an exhibition of domestic products in Uzbekistan.
