In the continuation of the severe military tensions between Iran and Israel, the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Defense announced that a new missile has been used for the first time during the recent responses to Israeli attacks.
Sardar Talaeinik, the spokesman for the ministry, said in an interview with the Khabar network: “Our nation is in an imposed war and the enemy is trying to harm the capabilities of the people.”
Emphasizing that Iran is in a defensive position, he added: “We will use all our offensive and defensive capabilities; Our defenses are not limited to the army or the IRGC, but include all segments of the population.”
Sardar Talaei also spoke of Israel’s inability to endure a long-term war and warned: “The Zionist regime’s back will be broken.” He emphasized that one of Iran’s new missiles was used in the operation, without Israel realizing what type it was.
These statements come as the scope of the conflict between the two countries has expanded to an unprecedented extent and analysts warn of the possibility of the region entering a war of attrition
