The clashes between Iran and Israel entered their sixth day and intensified. The two sides raised tensions to a new level with extensive missile and air strikes on each other’s targets.
According to Iranian sources, for the first time, “Fatah-1 and 2” missiles were fired at targets in Israel. Some of these missiles passed through the defense system and caused damage. At the same time, more than 50 Israeli fighter jets targeted Iranian military and nuclear facilities, including in Natanz and Karaj.
Dozens of people were killed and injured in these attacks in both countries. Reports indicate extensive damage to infrastructure, especially in urban areas.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, released a video message saying that Iran would not surrender and would respond to the attacks. He warned that any US intervention would come with a heavy cost.
Israel also stressed that it is prepared to continue attacks on Iranian military facilities.
Internationally, the tensions have caused widespread concern. The United States is considering military options. US President Trump has described Iran as a “suitable target.” Germany and Britain have supported Israel and stressed a diplomatic solution. Meanwhile, Russia and China have called for a reduction in tensions and dialogue between the two countries.
