Local sources in Panjshir say that the Taliban have shot two former soldiers on charges of being members of the Green Unit affiliated with Amrullah Saleh.

The incident took place on Saturday, July 4, in the Malam Khak area of ​​​​Rakhe district. The victims were named Hakimullah and Ali Ahmad and were residents of Dara district. They had been arrested a few weeks ago.

According to the sources, the Taliban transferred the individuals from prison to an area in Rakhe and shot them there. The purpose of their transfer is apparently to search for weapons.

Cases of former soldiers being detained and killed by the Taliban in various provinces have also been reported before. These actions have also raised concerns about widespread human rights violations.
