Taliban shoot dead man in Takhar.
Local sources in Takhar province say that Taliban forces have shot dead a man in the province’s Khwaja Bahauddin district.
The incident took place on Saturday and was confirmed by local sources today, Sunday, August 24.
According to witnesses, Taliban fighters engaged in a verbal exchange with the man after entering his house in the center of Khwaja Bahauddin district. After a brief argument, Taliban fighters opened fire on him.
Local residents have described the attack as a continuation of the Taliban’s violence against citizens. Local Taliban officials in Takhar have not yet commented on the incident to the media.
