Three Taliban wounded in battle with drug traffickers in Helmand.
Local sources in Helmand province say that last night (Saturday, August 23) in the “Bahramcha” district near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, a clash took place between the Taliban and drug traffickers.
According to the sources, at least four people were killed and five others were injured in the incident, including three Taliban members.
The clash began when smugglers were trying to smuggle a large amount of opium into Afghanistan from Pakistan.
The identities of the victims have not yet been determined and Taliban officials in Helmand have not yet responded.
