Local sources in Kabul say the deputy head of the Taliban’s 13th district has stripped a married woman naked in front of her husband at gunpoint.
A video posted on social media reinforces the claims.
According to sources, the Taliban official first kidnapped the woman and then forced her to strip naked in front of her husband.
Sources also said Taliban fighters severely beat the woman’s husband and asked him to divorce her.
One source said the man refused to divorce, but the Taliban eventually forced a divorce on him.
The woman is reportedly currently in the custody of the Taliban’s deputy 13th district chief, who intends to force her into his marriage.
However, no further information is available about the fate of the woman and her husband.
