A powerful explosion in Takhar.
Local sources in Takhar say that around 9 pm on Sunday night, September 7, a large explosion shook the city of Taloqan.
The sound of the explosion was heard throughout the city, and people came out of their homes in fear and anxiety.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred near the main square and the first and second roads of Bandar Saraisang.
Taloqan residents said that the intensity of the explosion was enough to shake different parts of the city.
They also reported hearing the sirens of police cars and Taliban ambulances after the explosion.
This situation has once again exposed the Taliban’s weakness in providing security in important centers of the city.
Despite the scale of the incident, the Taliban have not yet provided any official explanation about the type of explosion and possible casualties.
The lack of transparency and weakness in security management have increased citizens’ concerns that the group that introduces itself as “providing security” does not even have the ability to protect its main centers and forces.
