Resistance Front attacks increase; Taliban targeted in Kunduz.

The Resistance Front media office announced in a press release this evening, Saturday, September 20, that members of this front have carried out an attack on Taliban positions in Kunduz city.

The statement said that the attack took place on the evening of Wednesday, September 18, in Bala Hisar Square in Kunduz.

According to the press release, two Taliban members were killed and three others were injured as a result of the attack. Local sources also confirmed an explosion in the same location and said that the incident targeted the Taliban at one of their checkpoints.

The Resistance Front has increased the scope of its attacks on the Taliban in recent weeks, and Kunduz is one of the provinces where the Taliban have faced greater casualties and pressure.

According to experts, the continuation of these operations could indicate a change in the field balance and an increase in anti-Taliban movements in the north of the country.
