Sources add that the Taliban are ready for any kind of deal to get money and maintain political power. This plan was stopped when Biden came to power and American forces left Bagram.
Now, after returning to power, Trump is looking to re-implement this plan.
According to sources, the United States has discussed this issue with the Taliban once again and the Taliban have announced their partial agreement in exchange for receiving one billion dollars a month.
The Taliban, who are in power today, are ready to accept such agreements due to their financial needs and maintaining their government.
It is also said that Zalmay Khalilzad’s recent visits to Kabul have been mostly about the Bagram issue, and the release of Taliban prisoners has been more of a propaganda and media affair.
