Pakistani airstrikes on Taliban and TTP positions in Kabul and Kandahar.
Pakistani security officials have confirmed that they have used drones to target Taliban and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) positions in Kabul and Kandahar provinces.
According to Pakistani sources, the strikes, which were described as “successful,” destroyed the TTP leadership center in Kabul and several Taliban military headquarters in Kandahar, killing at least 15 to 20 fighters.
The Taliban confirmed the attacks in Kandahar’s Spin Boldak, but attributed the Kabul explosions to a tank fire.
Local sources have also confirmed the attacks.
