Meanwhile, rumors have spread that Mullah Wasiq, the Taliban’s intelligence chief, was killed in Kabul airstrikes, but this news has not yet been confirmed by official sources.
The Taliban have described the explosion in Kabul as the result of a fuel tanker explosion and have denied any airstrike in the city.
However, the Taliban have confirmed that Pakistani airstrikes have occurred in Kandahar province, specifically in Spin Boldak district, and have said that several civilians have been killed in these incidents.
Independent sources have also confirmed the occurrence of these attacks.
