Explosion in Kabul’s Kote Sangi; The Afghanistan Freedom Front claimed responsibility for the attack on the Taliban.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) said its forces attacked a vehicle carrying Taliban fighters in Kabul’s Kota Sangi area.
According to the Front, two Taliban members were killed and another wounded in the attack.
The incident took place on Thursday evening, (October 16, 2025), in the Kota Sangi area of the fifth security zone of Kabul.
Local sources said the target of the attack was a Hilux vehicle carrying Taliban fighters.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front said the attack was part of a targeted operation against Taliban forces in the capital, while the Taliban have not yet responded to the incident.
