Bloody clash between the Freedom Front and the Taliban in Maiwand, Kandahar.
A new clash has occurred between the Freedom Front and Taliban forces in Maiwand district of Kandahar province.
Local sources say that the clash took place yesterday in the Lashkar Gah crossroads area and lasted for more than half an hour.
According to Freedom Front sources, two Taliban members were killed and another was injured as a result of the clash. A Taliban military vehicle was also completely destroyed during the operation.
Freedom Front sources have emphasized that their forces were not harmed in this operation.
This incident occurs while this week, this is the third recorded attack on Taliban positions by Freedom Front forces in the southern provinces of the country.
