Samangan educators celebrate National Uzbek Language Day in Aybek.
A group of educators, poets, and writers in Samangan province held a ceremony on Saturday, 25 October 2025, to mark National Uzbek Language Day in Aybek city. Local officials also attended the event.
According to the organizers, the ceremony was launched with the aim of recognizing and preserving the culture, literature, and values of the Uzbek language and passing it on to younger generations.
They considered the Uzbek language to be part of Afghanistan’s national identity and emphasized the need to support, expand, and strengthen the position of this language in cultural and educational institutions.
