People invited to welcome the national futsal team.
The Afghan Futsal Committee has announced that the members of the country’s U-17 national futsal team will arrive at Kabul Airport tomorrow, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 7:30 am.
The committee has invited citizens to accompany the national team from the airport to the Futsal Committee building to welcome the young champions.
The Afghan U-17 national futsal team won the final match of the Asian Futsal Games in Bahrain last night with a score of 2-1 against Iran and won the championship title of the competition.
The country’s national players had previously shown brilliant performance in the group stage with scores of 10-2 against Uzbekistan, 7-0 against Bahrain and 4-1 against China, and in the semi-final with a score of 9-1 against Thailand.
This great sporting success was met with widespread welcome and joy from the people of the country and was widely reflected in the media.
The junior team’s championship is considered an important achievement for Afghan sports and has created new hope and motivation among sports fans and youth.
