Sources in Kabul report that Abdul Hakim Shari, Taliban Minister of Justice, has forcibly seized homes in the Senatorium area of Kabul, compelling residents, including women and children, to relocate. According to sources, the properties were handed over to the minister’s relatives and close associates, while token measures such as setting minimal rent were implemented to justify the seizures.

Earlier reports indicated that the Taliban had demolished a Shia mosque in the same area, forcing Shia residents to leave their homes. These actions reflect a policy of discrimination, land seizure, and religious oppression under the guise of “Islamic justice,” highlighting violations of fundamental rights by the Taliban.

While the Taliban frequently emphasize “national interest” and “national unity,” these recent actions demonstrate that in practice, justice is not upheld, and oppressive and discriminatory measures dominate people’s lives, signaling moral and political decay within the regime.
