Farhad Darya, a prominent and well-known Afghan artist, visited the residence of the Afghan ambassador in Tajikistan, known as “Little Afghanistan,” and met with the ambassador and political representative of the Afghan people, Lieutenant General Mohammad Zahir Aghbar.

He also met with a group of students and teachers at the cultural center, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, inspiration, and motivation for the attendees.

During the visit, Ambassador Aghbar described “Little Afghanistan” as a shared home for all Afghan citizens and emphasized that the embassy’s doors are open to all segments of society. He highlighted the cultural and social role of artists, noting that artists, poets, athletes, and filmmakers serve as living bridges connecting nations and civilizations.

The Afghan Embassy in Tajikistan expressed appreciation for the presence of prominent Afghan artists, including Ariana Saeed, Farhad Darya, Mir Maftoon, Taher Shabab, and Maryam Yoorosh, recognizing their role in promoting friendship and solidarity between the peoples of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. The visit further reinforced the cultural and human ties and underscored “Little Afghanistan” as a safe space for art, knowledge, unity, and civilizational exchange.
