Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, in an online meeting with political leaders, national figures, and former members of the Afghan Parliament, stressed the need for greater unity among anti-Taliban political factions.

He stated that to convey the voice of the Afghan people to the international community, signatures from former officials of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan should be collected and a single, organized message presented to international organizations.

Meanwhile, several Afghan citizens expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation in the country and the Taliban’s performance. They reported suffering from widespread unemployment, severe economic challenges, and restrictions on individual and social freedoms. Many described daily life as resembling “life in a prison.”

Citizens believe that over the past four years, the Taliban have not only failed to improve the economic situation but have also severely restricted fundamental rights, particularly those of women and girls.

From education and work to the right to live a free and healthy life, basic rights have been curtailed, posing a serious threat to the future of Afghanistan’s younger generations.
