The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has reported that three Taliban members were killed and wounded in Kunduz city.
According to the front’s statement, on Thursday evening, December 11, 2025, its forces attacked Taliban fighters near the Sixth Security District checkpoint in Kunduz, resulting in two deaths and one injury. The statement emphasized that the attack was targeted and that neither the National Resistance Front forces nor civilians were harmed.
The front added that these operations are part of a planned series of attacks across the country aimed at challenging Taliban rule and seeking the liberation of the Afghan people. The Taliban have not issued an official response, and in similar cases, they usually avoid publicizing such incidents, especially in northern Afghanistan.
