Deadly violence: Young man killed in western Kabul.
Amid continuing insecurity in Kabul, thieves recently killed a young man named Asmatullah Hosseini in the city’s western district. Local sources reported that the incident occurred earlier this week when the victim resisted the intruders while defending his home.
According to sources, the thieves had entered Hosseini’s home intending to rob it, but he fought back. The assailants fatally stabbed him in the presence of his mother, sister, and father.
The Taliban have not commented on the incident. Local residents believe that the rise of such violent incidents in Kabul and other provinces reflects the Taliban’s failure to ensure public security.
