Afghanistan Freedom Front: Deadly Migration Is Proof of the Taliban’s Failure.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front has sharply criticized the Taliban’s performance, stating that the group’s continued rule is pushing Afghanistan deeper each day into political, economic, and social collapse.
In a statement, the Front said that the Taliban’s policies and conduct have driven the country into a deadlock and made life unbearable for ordinary citizens.
According to the statement, the Afghanistan Freedom Front expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of several Afghan citizens who lost their lives due to extreme cold while attempting to migrate to Iran through border areas between Herat and Mashhad. The Front stressed that people fleeing the country—even at the cost of their own lives—is clear evidence of the Taliban’s complete failure to provide even the most basic standards of living, security, and human dignity.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front further stated that despite the Taliban’s repetitive and misleading slogans about security, an end to war, and economic growth, the group has no answers for widespread poverty, economic collapse, and the unprecedented wave of migration.
The statement added that the continuation of Taliban rule has stripped people of hope for the future and turned Afghanistan into a country trapped in poverty, injustice, and permanent crisis, placing direct responsibility for this situation on the Taliban and their supporters.
