According to the sources, Ghulam Sarwar, son of Ghulam Hazrat, a resident of Kohsar village in Paryan district, Panjshir province, has been involved in espionage and reporting sensitive internal information about anti-Taliban forces and the identities of resistance fighters.
Sources indicate that he transmitted this sensitive information to the Taliban intelligence and Mawlavi Qudratullah, the former Taliban governor of Panjshir.
They further report that last year, Ghulam Sarwar had informed on two innocent young men from Panjshir to the Taliban intelligence.
After their arrest, these individuals were subjected to severe torture, and for a long time, no information about their fate was available. It is reported that they continue to live under Taliban pressure and threats.
