Local sources in Khost province report that unidentified drones have been patrolling the skies over the region.
According to these sources, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, several unmanned aerial vehicles took flight after noon over Khost city and surrounding districts, including Gurbuz, Tani, Ismailkhel, and Manduzai.
The drones were observed flying at low altitudes, clearly visible to locals.
