Nabil’s Warning to Iran: U.S. Preparing a Larger, Heavier Military Operation.

Rahmatullah Nabil, former head of Afghanistan’s National Security Directorate, has warned in an analytical note about the significantly increasing likelihood of a U.S. military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to him, the current environment in U.S. and regional media, along with statements by American politicians, indicates that a military confrontation scenario has become more serious than ever and should not be considered merely a political threat.

Nabil stressed that delays in military action do not indicate a retreat by Washington, but may instead signal preparations for a larger and heavier operation.

He added that this pressure aims to compel Iranian leaders to fundamentally revise their political and security calculations, especially regarding regional developments, Israel, and U.S. interests.

According to Nabil, there are simultaneous reports of redeployment and reduction of U.S. military presence in Iraq and Qatar, possibly as part of a prelude to a potential action.

He also referenced what he described as a “managed soft dispute” between Europe and the U.S. over Greenland, which may serve either to distract public attention or align Europe with a possible U.S. military operation.

Reports indicate that the U.S. Navy’s largest aircraft carrier is en route to the Persian Gulf and is expected to arrive within the next one to two days. Nabil believes the message for Iran is clear: either revise policies and calculations or face heavier costs in the near future.
