An intelligence source based in Doha, who is closely familiar with developments in Afghanistan and the region, has warned that the region is on the verge of major and pre-planned transformations.
According to the source, his predictions over the past two months, ranging from the confiscation of the assets of “Katawazi,” a member of parliament, to the hidden objectives of Khalilzad’s travels, have materialized, giving his information a high level of credibility.
In his latest remarks, the source said that the visit of the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General to Afghanistan was not for formal talks, but aimed at secretly preparing the Taliban to accept tens of thousands of Iranian migrants in the event of a military confrontation with Iran.
He added that the simultaneous attacks by Baloch groups in various parts of Pakistan should not be seen as isolated or accidental, but as part of a calculated scenario to destabilize borders and increase pressure on Iran.
According to the source, the consequences of these developments will directly target Afghanistan.
