Taliban Gunfire Reported in Rokha, Anaba, and Bazarak of Panjshir.
Local sources in Panjshir Province have reported sporadic gunfire by Taliban forces in parts of the province.
According to these sources, the shootings mainly occurred in Rokha and Anaba districts, as well as in Bazarak, the provincial center.
Based on reports, the gunfire began at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and involved the use of both light and heavy weapons. The shootings continued intermittently and caused concern among residents.
Despite its limited size, Panjshir has always been considered a sensitive and intimidating region for the Taliban due to its strategic location and the historical resistance of its inhabitants.
For this reason, Taliban forces have established more than 700 checkpoints across various parts of the province in order to maintain strict security control.
