Night Attack in Kabul Leaves Four Taliban Intelligence Members Dead.

The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) has announced that four members of the Taliban were killed in what it described as a “targeted operation” in the city of Kabul.

According to a statement released by the group, the operation was carried out on Monday evening, March 9, 2026, at around 8:00 p.m., in the Qasaba Road area of Police District 15 in Kabul.

The NRF said the target of the attack was a vehicle carrying Taliban forces. The group claimed that four members of the Taliban intelligence unit linked to District 15 were killed and that one vehicle was destroyed in the operation.

In its statement, the National Resistance Front said no civilians or members of its own forces were harmed during the operation. The Taliban have not yet issued any official response to the claim.

The NRF says it will continue its targeted attacks in different parts of the country with the aim of what it calls the “liberation of Afghanistan from the illegitimate rule of the Taliban.”
