Local sources say the Taliban launched a large-scale arrest campaign following an explosion in Marmal District, Balkh Province. According to the sources, Taliban forces searched homes over the past two days and detained at least 30 civilians, including several teachers from Abu Esmat Balkhi High School, transferring them to undisclosed locations. Families say they have received no information about the detainees. Taliban authorities have not commented on either the explosion or the arrests.
