Local Taliban officials in Faryab say that a university student in the province was stabbed to death after an argument with another student.
The Taliban police headquarters in Faryab said that the incident took place on Wednesday (25 May) in a dormitory at Faryab University.
According to the police headquarters, the student was named “Farogh” and was originally from Badakhshan province.
The Taliban police headquarters said that he was murdered by another student from Badakhshan.
According to officials, the cause of the conflict is still unclear and the person accused of murder has been arrested.
