Following Israeli airstrikes on Iranian soil, an 18-year-old Afghan man, a resident of Murghab district, Ghor province, lost his life and three other companions were injured.
Abdul Ghani, the young man’s father, told the media with tears in his eyes that his son had gone to Iran six months ago to find a bite to eat, but he died in the airstrikes this morning (Tuesday) and never returned home.
This incident has not yet been commented on by official Taliban officials.
The death of this young migrant is just one of hundreds of hidden faces of suffering and helplessness of migrants who, in the midst of crises, become victims of endless wars in the region.
