A young man in Kandahar committed suicide due to economic problems

Local sources in Kandahar province confirmed that a young man named Abdullah committed suicide and died on Monday (July 29) in the Shorandam area of ​​​​the fifth district of Kandahar city.

According to reports, Abdullah was 33 years old and worked in a private company with a monthly salary of 18,000 Pakistani rupees. It is said that he committed this act due to severe economic pressure and livelihood problems. He is survived by three sons and a daughter.

In recent months, suicide cases in Afghanistan, especially among young people and women, have increased at an alarming rate. Similar reports of suicides due to poverty and unemployment have been published in Kandahar, as well as in provinces such as Ghor, Faryab and Herat.
