A young man was stabbed to death in Sancharak, Sar-e-Pul.
Local sources in Sar-e-Pul province say that a young man named Ahmad Vakil was killed as a result of a violent incident in the province’s Sancharak district.
The incident occurred on Friday in the Sancharak market and was reported to the media on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
According to sources, Ahmad Vakil had a telephone conversation with a girl who was previously engaged. This caused tension between the two families and eventually the girl’s brother stabbed him to death.
Sources emphasized that the young man had previously asked the girl’s family to cancel their daughter’s engagement so that she could marry him.
Ahmad Vakil’s murder has sparked a wave of concern among Sancharak residents about the increase in domestic and honor-related violence.
