Manzanares Futsal Club Spain announced on Thursday, 2025 June 5, the official signing of Mehran Gholami, a young and brilliant Afghan futsal player.
The club welcomed the 20-year-old player with a poster in Persian.
According to the club’s official announcement, Gholami’s contract is valid until the end of the 2027 season. Manzanares head coach Hidalgo has requested the player’s signing in order to strengthen the team.
Manzanares is one of the teams in the Spanish Primera División, one of the most competitive futsal leagues in the world.
Mehran Gholami, who is considered one of the future faces of Afghan futsal, is now taking his first professional steps at the international level.
His joining the Spanish Premier League could be a turning point in the growth of Afghan players on the world stage.
