After 48 hours of silence, Pakistani aircraft attacked Paktika again.

Local sources in Paktika province report that drones carried out four airstrikes in different parts of the province this evening (Friday, October 17, 2025).

According to these sources, three attacks took place in Argun district and another attack in Barmal district.

In Argun district, one of the attacks targeted the Taliban military center called “Shahin”. Witnesses say that three consecutive explosions were heard in the base.

According to sources, two other attacks were carried out, one in Argun market, one on an empty house and the third on a residential building.

The fourth attack took place in Barmal district, but the exact location and extent of the damage are not yet known.

Local residents say that the bombings took place about twenty minutes ago and that there is no exact figure of casualties yet.

The Taliban has not yet commented on this.
