All Hazara professors were dismissed from the military academy by the Taliban.
Informed sources told the media that the Taliban’s defense ministry had expelled all Hazara professors from the National Military Academy.
According to sources, the Taliban have dismissed 16 Hazara teachers in two phases, called “reduction” and “evacuation”.
While the reductions lead to the removal of posts from the structure, the evacuation process has been carried out to replace former employees with Taliban-affiliated figures.
According to sources, the process was carried out without prior notice and within a few hours and the teachers’ ID cards were also confiscated.
Currently, there are no Hazara professors left in the institution. The move was reportedly carried out despite the Taliban’s defense minister’s order to retain some cadres, on the orders of Taliban commander Taj Mohammad Rahbar at the National Military Academy.
The Taliban have not yet responded to the report.
