Armed attack in Kabul’s Dehmazang; It left two dead and two wounded.
The Freedom Front announced on Thursday that it had attacked a Taliban checkpoint in Kabul’s Dehmazang district. According to the report, two Taliban members were killed and two others wounded.
The Freedom Front released a video of the attack, which shows the explosion. The checkpoint was part of the Taliban’s security measures on the night of their return to power, the group said in a statement.
The attack is the second attack by the Freedom Front in the past 10 days; Earlier, on 13 August, the group claimed to have attacked a Taliban border guard base in Dargh district of Takhar province.
The Taliban have not yet responded to the incident.
