Armed attack on Taliban in Faryab; Third event in one day.
Local sources in Faryab province said unidentified gunmen attacked a Taliban military vehicle in Grizwan district of the province.
The incident took place around 9:00 pm on Wednesday evening in the Kotl-e-Ti-Qara area, the sources said. The attackers ambushed a Taliban Ranger vehicle.
There are no details of the casualties or damage caused by the attack, and the Taliban have not responded.
This is the third attack on Taliban positions today; Earlier, explosions were reported in Takhar and Kunduz provinces.
