Armed conflict in Aliabad Kunduz; destruction of a Taliban intermediary
Local sources in Kunduz province report an armed conflict in Aliabad district of the province.
According to sources, the incident occurred around Thursday, July 1, in one of the Aliabad areas.
According to initial reports, a Ranger vehicle belonging to the Taliban was targeted and completely destroyed during the clash. There is no information about possible casualties yet.
The identity of the party involved in the clash with the Taliban has not yet been determined and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Official Taliban sources have also not commented on the matter so far.
It is worth noting that Kunduz province is one of the insecure provinces in northeastern Afghanistan, which has witnessed increased military activity and security incidents in recent months.
