On Monday evening, a number of residents of Kabul reported an armed conflict in the 15th district of the city.
According to local sources, sustained heavy and light weapons firing was heard from the scene of the conflict.
A video posted on social media clearly shows the sound of continuous gunfire.
Although the exact cause of the conflict is not yet clear, in the past, armed groups opposing the Taliban have repeatedly launched guerrilla operations against the group’s forces inside Kabul.
