A Type 580 passenger bus overturned on the Samangan-Balkh highway, killing three and injuring 33.
According to Taliban officials in Samangan, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning in the Golai Kaftarkhaneh area of Kholam district.
Among the injured were women and children, who were taken to a provincial hospital for treatment.
The Taliban have blamed the driver’s carelessness, a factor that often claims the lives of citizens on the country’s unsafe roads.
