The Taliban Prime Minister’s Office has announced that the Chinese government has provided 160 ready-made housing units and 30 million Chinese yuan to Afghanistan to support refugees returned from neighboring countries.
According to a statement released on Sunday (28 Sour), Zhao Xing, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Kabul, announced the aid package during a meeting with Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister for Administration.
The statement said that the Chinese ambassador emphasized that his country’s humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people in various sectors will continue.
However, the Taliban Prime Minister’s Office did not provide further details about the location of the construction and how these housing units will be distributed
