According to the Taliban security command in Spin Boldak, mortar shells hit the villages of Wardak and Set in the district.

Local sources added that ten others were injured in a traffic accident while trying to leave the scene of the conflict following the incident.

In a separate incident, local sources in Parwan province said that an Afghan youth named Mohammad Salem was killed and eighteen others were injured in shooting by Iranian border guards in the border area of ​​Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province.
