Clash between Taliban commanders over pasture in Badakhshan

Local sources in Badakhshan say that several local Taliban commanders in the Jurm district of the province clashed last night (Tuesday) over ownership of pasture in the villages of Pelar and Keb in Dara Khastak. At least three people were killed in the incident.

According to sources, the clash lasted for several hours and rockets were also used. In addition to the commanders, residents of the two villages were also involved in the battle. The exact number of injured is not yet known.

According to sources, the local Taliban administration sent helicopters to the area after the clash and arrested several residents.
