The Afghan Dragons hacking group has taken down the websites of a number of Taliban ministries. Investigations show that the websites of the Presidential Palace, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Good Conduct, Telecommunications, and the Economy are still inactive.
The Taliban has not yet made an official response. The hackers have stated that their goal is to support women and girls deprived of education.
This is not the first attack of this kind; the Taliban Leaks group has previously infiltrated the Taliban’s digital systems.
