Sources in Faryab confirm that the body of Farhad Adel, a well-known footballer, was found in his home in He.
He was a player for the “Sarsabz Yashlar Faryab” team, which stated that the incident was the result of a premeditated plot. Taliban authorities in Herat have not yet commented on the case.
