Dostum: The Time to Overthrow the Tyrants Has Come.
Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, leader and founder of the National Islamic Movement of Afghanistan, declared in his Ramadan message: “The oppressors and tyrants will not endure and the people of Afghanistan will soon own their destiny.”
He described the holy month as a historic opportunity for spiritual renewal, moral refinement, and strengthening of faith. He stressed that divine blessings could pave the way for the end of tyrannical rule and the restoration of hope across the country.
Dostum highlighted the endless suffering of the Afghan people. He called Ramadan a “month of light, blessing, and hope” and prayed for the removal of all injustice and hardships inflicted on the oppressed nation.
He warned that the pressure of tyrants cannot break the will of the people. This month should be used for prayer and preparation for major, destiny-shaping transformations.
